To deepen community-enterprise collaboration and promote the spirit of volunteerism, on April 12, we organized over 20 employees to enter the community and carry out a public welfare campaign themed "Delivering Practical Services for the People." They provided convenient services to residents and extended care to special groups, earning widespread praise from the community. The event featured four dedicated service zones:
Delivering Care and Warmth
Our volunteers also brought daily necessities, including rice, flour, and cooking oil, to visit five households of elderly living alone and families with disabilities. “These young people not only helped clean my home, but even taught me how to book medical appointments via smartphone. They are so thoughtful!” said 72-year-old Grandma Li, visibly moved. Wang, director of the neighborhood committee, remarked: “Corporate volunteers have filled gaps in our community services. This targeted assistance truly addresses residents' most pressing needs.”
Sustainable Partnerships for Community Development
During the event, our leadership highlighted this as the first activity of this year’s 'Community Pairing Assistance Program.' Moving forward, different themed services will be organized each month, and a 'Resident Needs List' system will be established to enable demand-driven service delivery. On the day of the event, we also donated 10 sets of sorting trash bins to the community, supporting the city’s green initiatives.
Employee Insights
'Seeing residents’ smiles made every drop of sweat worthwhile,' wrote new employee Xiao Zhang in his service journal. Several participants noted that stepping out of the office to provide services gave them a deeper understanding of the company’s culture of responsibility and commitment.
This initiative exemplifies our commitment to corporate social responsibility, strengthening employees’ service awareness and contributing to the building of a harmonious community.
